Sundays: 18:00-19:00
The Clubs senior section brings together a variety of individuals from all ages and backgrounds. There are several ways that senior members can train and maintain their Lifesaving skills and competencies. Firstly members can train on a Sunday evening from 19:00 - 20:00 at the pool, where they are able to maintain their fitness levels and practice a variety of practical lifesaving techniques in order to maintain being competent. Training sessions are tailored to different levels of swimming ability.

Alternatively members are able and encouraged to train on Wednesday evenings at Sankey Marina, where throughout the year there is a vast amount of nationally/internationally recognised rewards available such as:

On completion of these awards there is an opportunity to work towards being part of the Flood Rescue Unit, or to gain employment within organisations such as the Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Police, Coastguard, HEMS, SAR, Mountain Rescue.
